Will these fit my 1997 seat cordoba 1.6?

They are Porsche wheels (5 stud i know but i can get adaptors) buts is the offset im worried about.

17"x7.5 and offset 52 with 205/40-17 tyres

any help would be appriciated.

ET52 with 25mm adaptors will make them ET27

Standard ET for a Cordoba is ET35-38, so they'll stick out about 8mm further than normal.

I think you'll probably get away with them as they're only 7.5J wide.

Is the car lowered at all? If so, then you might have problems......

nope its not lowered at all. I have some KYB shocks and springs waitng to go on but i havent fitted them.

what would happen if i lowered it then?

Width adapters they will probably fit, but in front they wont - mostly due to the tire dim. I think you need a narrower tire, especially when you lower it.
You should go for adjustable coilovers.
