Yet Another Post About Mk2 Parts. Sorry... (Altenator)

Man, i seem to be creating so many topics these days... Sorry about that...

I just found an altenator for my Ibiza, but it's off a 1.4 mpi. I didn't know Seat did a 1.4 mpi engine for the Ibiza but whatever .

Anyway, will this fit my mk2 TDI? Also, will a newer altenator (from a mk3 or 4) fit my mk2 TDI? And i can get an altenator from a mk2 petrol model, right..? Does that apply to mk3 and 4 petrol models aswell? What about mk1?

mk2/3 alternators are similar enough - make sure they're the same kinda ampage though (tdi's require a higher one I think)

if you've just broken the casing on yours, I'll bet it still works fine

think the 1.4's are 70amp and the TDi's need a 90Amp.... (p.s. Leon ones will also fit !!! and are higher amps )
