All these are new to me as I haven't even picked my LCR up yet! But that one is definately worth knowing! I had that as an extra on my escort cosworth about 5 years ago on the clifford 500 alarm. That alarm did so much I never did manage to get it to do that! I remember making it flash whilst I was in the petrol station queuing to pay though...lol

It's more aerodynamic than a golf mkv gti as it has a drag-coefficient of 0.32 as opposed to 0.32064 (every little helps!)

It also has a slot in the lower dash under the steering wheel for the service book which no one uses.

I think the locking wheel nut has a number on the end so if you lose it seat can give you another.

does the opposite too, get back to your car on a warm day and hold the key in the open position and it will open them all ......... got the manual in front of me now!

trying to figure out how the heck the wing mirrors work, some times one moves, other times they both move.....confuse the crap out of me

also.....
when you floor it back window steams up!

if you leave the indicator on and get out of the car, it will have one light switched on (depending on what indicator position its on)...know as parking lights

and turn the key the other way (to the right) and it will lock and make the windows go down until u let go of the key... so if u want to leave ur windows slightly open in the summer! ;)

Most LCR owners don't read their owner manuals

Most of the above items are all within the manual and yes 2 presses on the lock button on your fob will not only disable the deadlocks it also deactivates the volumetric sensor. (or something to do with the alarm - I don't have the manual with me:doh: )

:ban:

a lot of ppl will adjust the passenger mirror and then adjust the drivers and then wonder why the passenger mirror has adjusted it self again...

you are ment to adjust the drivers mirror first and then the car will work out from this how u want your passenger mirror, well supposedly! lol

i'm anal about my alloys and always use the passenger mirror to park,
i thought it was to do with which way you turn the mirror knob when you fold them

Doesnt on mine the engine has to be off.

Mine either, i know for a fact is doesnt as when i picked it up the dealer forgot the diesel so we drove to BP and he filled it up, i couldnt get teh cap to open until i took the keys out of the ignitions, i also thought 2 presses on the fob meant deadlock on, what does having them off mean?

Is there any way in HELL i can get the stupid car to open all doors with one press its a complete faff. EVERY time i get in the car and sure i have pressed it twice i get my gf trying to open the door and she cant get in. Or if i park and get out and try to go in the back for a bag or something, again the dam doors locked and i have to go bavk and press the button the drivers door inside.
