i did my first engine swaps this year, a 1.8vetec into a civic coupe, and then the 1.5 mpi out of that into a hatch (spi orignally) had to do all the wiring loom engine and car ecu ect, but it was good fun. unfortunalty i cant be arsed to do anything to my personal car...

how am i going to get work with out a car if it goes tits up :D

my personal opinion is the mk3 20vt front seats are cr@p and don't support you aswell as the mk2 16v seats (not that there the most suportive seats but there a damn sight better than the 20vt ones)

that's why im borrowing the tiger stripe seats for the track day :)

been roped into helping out a similar job in a corrado 16v

guy has just turned up with a custom loom for £200 - nice job too

plugs in a treat but i guess if you got the cash fair play - couldnt say i'd spend £200 on one as its more fun doing it yaself :):)

£1350 thats a bargain how many miles and how much damage to the shell?
where from??????????????

68k with full history, more miles than i'd have liked but it will do the job

there's a pic of it at the begining of the thread but shell is scrap, n/s chassis leg has come away from inner wing and the A pillar is pretty buckled up aswell

was on good old ebay and we picked it up from a guy in swindon

know of any more going that cheap?????????
that are repairable
in the trade(seat tech) so easy to fix

Ben got the engine out today while I falled with my old 8v lump that needs scrapping!

Booked a week off in January to start stripping the 16v too!

If all goes to plan it should be in by the end af January! Just need to find afew more parts and all's good!

did you try that brakers i said about?
I tried to find the number through google but had no luck. I PM'd seatsteve and he is asking his mate to try and get the number for me. Apart from that, Ben knows someone local that might possibly have one for sale.

Hope I'm not interferering with the hectic schedule:p
Haha, I can't do anything to mine until I find parts now!
