fitting universal cone filter, what do i do with all these..............

Pipes and sensors! won a new cone of ebay quite a big one too! it was only a pound! brand new more or less, but question if what do i do with all these pipes, esp the one that goes into the top of the airbox, its about 30mm or so thick..... thanks!

Basically you want to connect your universal filter to item 12. And where I've circuled in red there is a pipe connecting to that bit. You need to put a crank case breather filter onto it ie.......http://www.green-filter.co.uk/index.php?cPath=622_684_685

wow what a top answer! need to get me one of those air filters off down the motorists centre now me thinks! would i get away with not having a breather for a few days or so?

Mines fell off tons of times, does sometimes through up a fault so the engine management light might come on but I've been running with out one for a bit until I can secure it down.

if its anything like what mine sounded like when i ran a cone MENTAL loads of turbo whistle ans massive whoosh on lift off!

Mate its the best £1 i have ever spent lol the air breather cost more than the cone!! and yes it sounds mental!! loads of whistle, complimented by some dumpage whoosh! ROCK ON EBAY!!.... and thanks for everyones help esp ric_2001 for the quick reply and diagram!

No problem. Thats what the for forums here for. Been running my dynatwist without the heatshield on for a bit. Mental init. Looking at modifying the front bumper to accomodate the air filter. But never had the bumper off to see how much space is there.

Come on...... Fitting an aftermarket air filter gives gains of about 2-3 bhp, do you really think you'd notice it any way? Just allows more air to be sucked in and bwtter flow throught the engine.

belucky to see 2-3bhpmore like -2 -3bhp performance wise pannel filter and modding the airbox is best but for noise looks ect the cone is best

Thats why I asked, with all that heat the filter must be sucking in being so close to the turbo and no cold air feed, i thought he might actually be down on power???
