Dave see the carbon fibre bits you recently got from the dealer of the b-pillars, do they go just go on the part on the outside or are they fitted right round to the window??

Sorry if it isnt a good explanation, im struggling to describe it properly. Reason im asking is that my dealer couldnt get me a set of the pre-cut carbon fibre decals so Im going to make my own set up.

they just stick on..it will be easy to make your own...and then also do the rear inscriptions in carbon effect too

Much better, the car rev's more freely. Its a bit of a pain to get use to at first and will stall the car now and again and when you rev it high it won't take ages to come back down.

I had a mate of mine lighten and balance it for me, take off half the weight of the flywheel.

you got a pic of your engine bay mate?

No sorry, only pic is when I took it with my strut brace fitted. I haven't fitted my samco hoses yet so that will be the next pic of the engine bay.

Oh and another update...... Collected my Peloquin Diff on Saturday so once we get this rain over with the box will be coming off again and this time it have the diff fitted and also fit a new VR6 clutch.

Right then been a while..... I got all my parts now and they all new from Seat mmmmmmmm :funk:

Had a closer look of the side skirts I had off eBay and they are cracked so will be ordering new ones tomorrow I think! I will get photos up of all the parts when it comes to taking it to the bodyshop.

But in the mean time, I collected a Peloquin Diff from a bloke from Club GTi. Had the diff fitted to find a problem! I brought a 02A diff for my 02A box, right!? Well the 02A should have push in flanges and for some reason I had bolt in flanges!

Emailed Peolquin and I had the main owner ring me himself from the US at 2am our time, keep in mind I finished work at 10pm that night and was back in work at 6am!!!

Anyway he got me the part number that I needed for the correct flanges to fit to the diff along with the circlips. But with all the rain we been having, I haven't had a chance to refit the box so once I'm waiting for our summer to come I decided to clean and paint my box.

Here's a pic of the Peloquin Diff

All its left now is get the box on, raise the collies a lil, fit new discs and pads and then it's on its way to the bodyshop.

It's taking hell of a lot longer than planned because I have lost heart in the car a few times and been ready to give it all up and break it all lol.

Keep an eye on here now because hopefully things should start moving along now!
