i had a headunit fitted and needed the space where the storage slot is for all the wiring and my soon to be fitted kce350bt bluetooth kit.
i i bought a blanking plate from my seat dealer for £3.09p (surprised as it was the dealer) an its plane black as pictured below.

i was wondering if people think it looks out of place and needs to be color coded?
also do you think i should color code the stereo trim at the same time?
anyone know the color or color code?
thoughts appreciated
Andy
how easy is it to wire in the bluetooth kit?
Ive got an alpine headunit in mine with a kce 300bt bluetooth adapter and it all fits in perfectly with the tray under the headunit. I cut out all the backing and the standard headunit still fits in.
Heres a pic of how mine looks

I had similar problems, but I didn't like the plate once I fitted it.
I decided the best way was to chop off the back third of the cubby hole, spray some cardboard matt black, duck tape that to the end of the remaining 2/3 and refit.
It retained the OE look and gave the HU wiring more than enough room.
should have just bought a hu with builtin bluetooth feature![]()
Still looks a different colour in the pic?
Not my eyes then
Looks very out of place, just too much of a blank void.
I'd put a pair of these in it, as you're working on the car's ICE anyway...

I hope, sincerely, I haven't started a trend. Please, do not write a guide.
