Any news on CVR. Did they get there car mid december like they said they would:confused:

Hopefully they'll announce the second driver aswell (hopefully there will be one)

I love touring cars [B)] Can't wait, will hopefully get along to at least a couple this year :)

Colin Neil (CEO at CVR) sent me a mail a week or so ago saying "an announcement is imminent"

Great news. Maybe theirs something on the horizon which will finally bring silence where their was voices of extreme doubt and scepticism which brings us closer to seeing CVR confirm entry. I would hate it if it was an announcement that confirms despite best efforts they were not able to bring the things needed to run a decent campaign in the BTCC together succesfully.

When the team get sufficiently professional to update their website so it doesn't look like their cars are vapourware, I for one will stop being extremely doubtful and sceptical. Until then...

I heard before that with the biofuel the engine might have a few more bhp.
I think JP is probably out of the question but could Darren Turner possibly end up in a CVR Leon.

BTCC is immense and gutted about Seat. Does anybody know about what channel it will be on, ITV?

it was ITV last year; think it will be again this year; but you never know now that bbc have bought the F1

ITV4 again probably - Ted Kravitz is going to the BBC for F1 but has a clause in his contract to carry on doing BTCC for ITV

oh great - the wealth of knowledge ted  there were rumours the top gear boys were going to present the F1, any news on this?

If the piece from the last series about 50 years of the BTCC is anything to go by they (Hammond and Clarkson more than May) are the property of touring cars. Far more interested in tintops than F1.

Would love to see Hammond move from doing seemingly daft Saturday primetime shows to being a reporter for ITV's coverage of the BTCC.:)
