i have changed this bit now so it more of a 45 then it vill have the v band clamp and flexi

Make sure you purge it during welding and you wont go far wrong, many people still dont do this and the results without it are shocking.
 
be careful when tiging it all together, as it will shrink like a mofo, and things like the external gate to turbo vband will move.
 
bill any way of stoping it or is a case of tiging a bit one side and go to the other side and dont get it all to hot
clamp it all together.. little welds, allow to cool, and leave it fully cool... move about when you weld so no one bit gets hot hot.. best chance of trying to stop it shrinking, which is inevitable
 
Cant you just weld the external gate once you have welded the dp??!! If you tack 4 separate ponts around each join then that minimises shrinkage.
