Mixed it at 49% meth and 51% water, as recommended by Devil's Own, same as their own pre-mixed stuff. Been using it at that from day one.

"DevilsOwn Brew ™ is DevilsOwn proprietary mix of 49% methanol and 51% water. This is the perfect mixture to inject using your alcohol-water injection system. It is made in a controlled environment to ensure the ratios are accurate."

Dave; what are optimum AFR values? On load the lowest lambda reading I get is 0.717 (*14.7 = 10.54); is this about right? Off load (over-run) lambda values go to maximum ~ 2.0; again, is this normal?
Thought I'd see if things are normal before even contemplating wmi :)

Sounds right to me, Danny. Have you got a log showing 031 ?

no; my vagcom cable broke when my laptop hit my dashboard after a very near miss with a large deer!! i've been using my race diagnostics gauge to get the readings quoted - new vagcom cable will be with me soon :)

Sorry about the lack of pics! It's unlike me isn't it? I'll correct that in a couple of days.

I have portable 12litre boat fuel tank. It's a condition of my breakdown insurance that I carry a spare wheel. I've got the (wmi) tank so it mounts in the spare wheel well for trackdays /strip - or on the boot floor the rest of the time.
No more spraying methanol on the screen - but now I've got rid of those fumes..... I hadn't considered that the tank would need a vent to allow air in to replace the water/meth as it leaves the tank. The tank has a little twist-to-open vent in its cap - but that means I have an 'open' tank in the cabin. I don't want to fit a vent tube as that would spoil the ease I can take the tank out of the boot to refill.

I could do to find a one-way valve to fit to the cap. Do you think I could use a valve from the vac system - or are there better solutions?

Why not just have a thin line plumbed into the cap or a small hole in the cap to allow it to suck in the air it needs to stop it from collapsing?
You could also fit a small exhaust/filter that would also stop any spills
