Decat video would be good mate....do you notice your car smoking more and smelling more since the decat?

I don't see the point in stage 2 myself. I doubt you'd notice much difference between stage 1 & 2 other than the price you pay for the extra parts needed!

no link in your sig to your thread? I don't think many of us could get them that cheap tbh unless second hand. I have some 312 discs sitting in the garage but I don't want them as they are drilled.

There now :p why dont you want some drilled ones? I know people have said they can crack but its never so bad the disk comes apart and only crack if driven hard on a track etc

Yeh same questions from me :p

Agreed couldn't see the point in stage 2, may aswell go stage 3 if your going that far but then your car is just gonna tear itself apart, mines staying stage 1 lol

the standard clutch is good for torque up to 325lbs/ft according to Will at P-Torque, but obviously at that level it definately won't last...if you keep it to 300 or just under you're fine ;)

obviously if you boot it every day then no it won't last...not even the gear box would last

yeah seen 312mm calipers and carriers and discs and pads..all in for 215..so not too bad.

No knocking yet, bit of creaking when cold but thats it...im sure when its loaded up it will scrub a bit...

Don't think there are any retaining springs with the tt setup aimez and the standard hoses are plenty long enough, such a worry wart :p

Thats the one :)

Cupra bushes are awesome! Could tell right away with mine, the specialist that looks after my car fits them to every car that needs its bushes doing now, said they are miles easier to fit too.

Reminds me, i need a service next month :( getting rear engine mount upgraded and matching rear disks too, gf's and mums bday too, expensive month :(

yeah i use a vag specialist near me and he recommended me them when i get the servce quite cheap too...

312mm brakes are the next thing now for sure...is 225 all in for the whole lot a good price then? thats pad/discs/calipers/carriers

There arn't any pins holding the pads in on the tt set up, there is the metal wired bit but that holds the caliper in the carrier straight?

yeh 15 quid i think, just the fitting takes hour and a half or summert :(

yeh thats a good price that. Think for 300 quid from the tt shop you can get ebc discs and ferodo ds2500 pads though, thats what i was gonna go for but cupra brakes came up cheap. Ended up part ex'ing the pads and calipers with the tt set-up with brand new redstuff pads and kept the new drilled and grooved discs, ended up costing 100 quid, then 50 fitting. Suppose every cloud has a silver lining haha
