Leon Cupra Mk2 Fuel Consumption

Just wondered what other people's experience of fuel consumption on a Mk2 Leon Cupra was. Seat say 34.9mpg combined or there abouts but I've been getting closer to 23mpg. I do have a heavy foot though! Does this seem about right?

22mpg now but it might rise to around 25mpg when the weather warms up a bit, thats what it was around last summer anyway.

Mine hasn't gone above 17 for a while, I blame the crap mpg due to fuel prices rising lol

I thought the new 2.0T was more frugal than the older 1.8T...judging by these figures this is by no means a correct statement?? I rarely get under 30 in my LCR, with a mix of driving, you juast need to take it gently until the engine is up to temperature.

My FR tfsi averages 28 - 29 mpg but last summer returned 33 mpg so roll on the warm weather.
That is no town driving just fast A roads and motorway

I would say it goes up a fair bit as the miles mount up. It would be intereting to know the age/milage of everyones leon compared to the MPG.

10 mile drive to work. 6 miles @ 30mph. 4 miles at anything up to 150. Always between 25 - 29mpg:D

Thanks for all of your inputs guys. Looks like its running about right for the type of driving I do. Its only got just over 10k on the clock so early days and I look forward to seeing if it improves along with the weather.
