Well...went and done it. Part exchanged the R27 for the Boc today. I pick it up next Friday and am very much looking forward it.

I took the Boc out for a long test drive during the week (4 hr rtest drive). I drove it down to my work place and managed to get 38.6mpg driving at a cruising speed of about 60mph. I was very impressed. Same journey in the clio basically returns about 28mpg...29 on a good day!

I gave the Boc a little spirited drive on the way home again and was suitably impressed. So...after all these years I have finally torn myself away from Renault to try something new. I will of course miss the R27 but I think it is time top let someone else take it and enjoy it.

Well done that man!!!. Just did a 100 mile stint in mine in the Welsh hills, power when you need it and economy when you don't.

Congrats mate, I finally pic my boca up tomorrow. WOOHOO!!!!!!

Happy days. Am sure you will be well pleased with it! I am really looking forward to just having something different now. Time will tell how I get on with Seat and the Boc, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Congrats:thumbup:

The economy is really class leading, maybe only the new Mito Cloverleaf Multiair is better in this regard.BTW a magazine tested and got the combined at 44 for the Cupra and 41 for the standard 1.4 Ibiza,i suppose that highways bring the standard one's down.

Man, am well impressed with the car. Picked it up yesterday afternoon. Have put 100 miles on clock and have to say, it is a lovely car.

Very very easy to drive sensibly....riot when you hit the loud pedal. it really is a jykle and hyde car and at the moment I am very much enjoying it.

Called into the petrol station this morning to fill up and the girl at the counter just starting ask me all sorts of questions about the car and also comment just how lovely it looked.

So...at the moment, no regrets about changing from the Clio to the Boc. Will give an update in a couple weeks I think. Must get some photographs up...haven't taken any yet lol

Good call. In January I went from a Focus ST to the Boc have to say it has made my wife and I re discover driving again. Compared to the Boc the ST was sterile to drive yes it had bags o grunt when it was wound up to warp speed but sheer fun and drivability and squeezing through a gap the Boc drops the ST like a bad habit. ST had big car comfort and speed. Boc is just 100% pure FUN. I am saving for coiliesn body kit and maybe a remap. Boc has done 1000 miles now and I swear in 28 years of driving its like starting over again. Before Boc the last four cars were ST170 Focus RS mk1 ST170 (five door) due to arrival of daughter and the last one 5 door ST2. the only ones that have come close to this one was the RS Focus and my old Escort RS turbo series 2. As for poke and grunt. The thing seems to chip along at warp speed. Had a bit of a mad moment in last last Saturday on the M4 and it just came alive. it was a real :D:D:D:D:p:D Moment

Drove a Clio when I was looking for this one. comfort wise this wins hands down. and its nice not to spend 45 - 60 quid a week on petrol. Filled up this morning and it came to 30 quid Bargain!
