Thats fair enough, a word of warning when it comes to fast VAGs though, you will end up modifying it as the gains are very good for the money, and then it all starts becoming addictive!

Congrats matey I'm sure you'll be well pleased with the boc, I've done 5500k now and must say it been superb. What colour did you end up with?
Im just under 8000 miles in mine now, still love it. Off to GTi Festival on Sunday, love the VW shows during summer.
Il look forward to seeing you there il be on the SCN stand![]()
Well...went and done it. Part exchanged the R27 for the Boc today. I pick it up next Friday and am very much looking forward it.
I took the Boc out for a long test drive during the week (4 hr rtest drive). I drove it down to my work place and managed to get 38.6mpg driving at a cruising speed of about 60mph. I was very impressed. Same journey in the clio basically returns about 28mpg...29 on a good day!
I gave the Boc a little spirited drive on the way home again and was suitably impressed. So...after all these years I have finally torn myself away from Renault to try something new. I will of course miss the R27 but I think it is time top let someone else take it and enjoy it.

Drove a Clio when I was looking for this one. comfort wise this wins hands down. and its nice not to spend 45 - 60 quid a week on petrol. Filled up this morning and it came to 30 quid Bargain!
