Brad is just trying to be funny, if AmD dont get good results from thier own map then they install the REVO softwear.
Dont worry mate you'll be fine ;)

I was having a harmless joke, keep your hair on :p I'm sure you will be pleased what ever the outcome coops10, stage 2 FTW ;)

So today was the day to get the new 3" Milltek turbo back exhaust and stage two map!

Was a very long day due to some complications with other cars but everyone got done in the end.

Here are mine and Tom's cars on the ramps getting virtually identical work done

And a few pictures of the Milltek fitted:

Now it was time to get it mapped! Had a few issues with it wheelspinning but it was adjusted slightly on the rollers and was fine after and the guys cracked on.

Started off by checking what its current bhp was. This came out at 276bhp which was pretty surprising as last time it was done it only produced 247bhp. Since then its had the Jetex, 3" TIP, Forge FMIC, de-baffeled charge pipe and the Milltek system system.

If im totally honest I thought this was the result after the Stage 2 map... lol!!

So next they applied the Stage Two AmD map and ran it on the rollers again.

Everyone was shocked at the result.... 304.9bhp & 310.8ft/lb !!!!

Awesome result for a standard K04, the car took the map really well! I think the de-baffeled charge pipe and especially the Badger5 3" TIP made the difference.

The drive home was excellent! The car is amazing to drive now, so much power over the whole rev range, no lag and pulls much harder than it did before. It just pulls and pulls and doesnt stop! Holds around 25psi now too.

Lots of videos of the RR runs to come once I've edited them up

Very very pleased with it and a big thanks to all at AmD :)

Was a good day mate, despite the amount of time we we're there I think we both left with smiles on our faces! :D

Top work on your LCR too, makes it all worth it getting those results.

Can't wait for the video's!!! :D

Good results, maybe optimistic but who knows, get it on another set of rollers. As wildwilly said get some vagcom logs of air mass and boost up. Main thing is that you are happy :) Maybe the 3" TIP is actually doing to business, I'll have the 3" TIP on by the AmD RR and hopefully I can hit that magical 300bhp mark :)

Hi Brad "cough" Scott

We have a new map for Stage 2 for your car now so we can take off you REVO that we put on and try this if you want? No charge just give it a try, I think you'll like it. The map is written for the Milltek exhaust but should work just as well on your pipes? Hows is your REVO SPS unit now that it has some settings in it?

Cheers Shaun.

Hey Shaun :) my middle name isn't cough :p it's known as brod by a couple of people lol. The Revo sps works fine with the settings, big thumbs up to you for sorting that for me. I've put it back in stock mode a couple of times, but it feels dog slow so I keep putting it back onto performance A settings :) Oooo free new map, will this include rolling road runs to see the gains? Are you up for doing this, I got a badger bill 3" TIP coming this Tuesday and I'll get that fitted and run it on the rollers with the Revo map, then load the new map onto it for comparison and we can also do road tests of both? This way gives a good comparison of both Revo and the new revised AmD stage 2 code. I have a decat, but I don't spose that matters? :)
