Great result with the exhaust and map there coops! I think I know where you work, won't say on here but based on something you said on another thread. If it is where I think it is then my company have an office in the same building, next time I'm down that way you'll have to take me for a spin ;)

Happy rollers , how far is badger bill from you ? , down pipe looks nice

I guess you think my 283bhp is a case of this 'happy rollers' aswell? ;)

Temps we're very low at the time of our runs (gone 5pm) damp air, perfect for max rolling road runs, people forget the finer details..

An S3 stage one made 250bhp on the same rollers not long before I see no happiness there ;)

Bills are meant to be more accurate he says he hasn't seen a stage 2 lcr make over 260 so yep more than likely happy same as my rr figures , as long as it drives ok that's the main thing

Great result Coops :)

I'm with Wild Willy, any chance that you can post some airflow logs up?

What's with the 'NEW' AMD Stage 2 code then? How does it differ to the 'old' one? In a previous post, Shaun mentions that it's written for the Milltek exhaust but I assume it will work just as well on another car with the same setup made from a different brand i.e. Pipewerx?

I'm on AMD Stage 1, it's great and I hope to upgrade to Stage 2 quite soon (I think it is £100 to do this if you already have AMD Stage 1) but how different does the car feel?

Looking at Tom's signature, he's some 20bhp down on you, seeing as it's the same dyno, why's there such a difference? I can't see a 3" TIP giving that kind of gain...maybe it's the difference between Forge and TX FMICs?

P.S. Nice to see a 210 making some nice numbers :)

wanna bet?
Its has gained this with JR filter on a stage 1 S3
details, facts, logs in my section.
It really does help airflow + power
Quite suprising no one has done this earlier.

I found same when I derestricted the pipework on my 150PD completely.

I looked at the graphs aswell and coops10 power doesn't drop off and holds it all the way to the red line line, tOm's car makes good power but drops off before the red line, only mod coops10 has over tOm is the 3" TIP. I honestly believe the standard TIP and forge TIP are both a restriction in any set up, the 3" TIP is the key to more and better power ;)

A little off tipic but sort of on topic (apologies) Bill could you design a 3" TIP for 150PD hybrids? I am wondering whether we would see good results. I see you got quite a good connection system with the 1.8T one...

The 3" TIP is far more free flowing thus giving more and better power throughout the rev range especially top end :) I'm gutted there's been a delay in the courier. Oh well, I'm sure it's worth the wait

Me and Karl was speaking about this while we was at work yesterday, don't see why you wouldn't get a gain

Shaun said there wasn't anything wrong with my fmic and it was doing it's job well, but said the bigger TIP will help and he has more hoses/pipes replaced with uprated one's than me. It definitely wasn't down to my intercooler, I was impressed with it tbh.

Adam has the bigger jetex cone without the chrome end, with 80mm cold air feed from the fog which I lack at the moment too. He also has most of the boost hoses done, I'm lacking the 2 top boost hoses.

I'm getting the 3" TIP, calling Bill in a mo infact to get it done. I think there must be a restriction there as Brad has mentioned.. I might roll it again at the weekend with the 3" TIP fitted being the only difference and report back my findings.....

If not it'll defo be rolling on the RR day, so anyone that wants to compare mine and Adam's and the graphs done on the day is welcome to.

One thing worth mentioning was that this was my car's 1st map it's ever had, so it certainly needs to adapt to it. Adam had a jabba stage one on his when he bought it so the car was used to boosting a bit harder etc. Don't really know if that would make a substantial difference, but I feel like my car needs to break in a bit ;)

Glad both of you came out with really good results.

As I said before lads I will try and get some logs done. I only have the free version, what should I log, just airflow?

You can slate the rollers all day long how many hundreds of you have used the RR at AmD?!
