Erm that's other stuff as well you know! Fortunetly we've got the vast majority of stuff so it's now a case of strip the car back, clean and repaint stuff and put it all back together

2.5K on just the engine and some other bits. Im guessing you are going for a 20v T?!

How come the demolition bit doesnt surprise me with you?!

Oh and regards your temperature gauge issue, try changing the thermostat.

My old one was stuck open, put another in and the gauge is sitting halfway like it should. I was able to move the pin in the old one that was stuck open by hand.

yep 20vt Craig engine looks gorgeous Stu truly is a genius

am off to ecp for a new stat n sender n few other bits for the green baby (note green not yellow!) gauge issue has resolved itself for now but have a coolant leak so do the whole lot in one hit. not looking forward to the mot this year though!

Not tempted to stick the 20vT in the mk2?! .

I had a coolant leak aswell, that was why I had to change my thermostat housing. Then the brand new thermostat then stuck open.

But now its fixed the ibiza is running like a dream. Ive fell back in love with it!! .

Just need new discs/pads but will get another couple of hundred miles out the ones on. Dont worry about the MOT, mine has past the last 2 years in a row with no advisories.

i never normally worry but this year there's a few niggles which probably won't be sorted in time so may or may not go through....we shall see!! no point stressing about it,just deal with it as n when
