I'm not changin the turbo now.all the £££ has been decades in to me going self employed.so k04 is being left and no meth either to much high maintenance.but I only update my thread when I can.

No harm in that plus I like modding my car burr sid really

i think thats a better solution, get in the car rather than under it a few weekends haha

i dont think all the money spent to get close to 300bhp is worth it, imo its better spending £600 on a dif and then soe good tyres so you can put the 280 horses down, then you can laugh at the 300bhpers spinning their wheels down the road

How are you connecting the mbc in relation to your n75 valve. Try running as normal with just the n75 as sole means of boost control.
The REVO stage 2 code is very tolerant of mods (no probs at all running 300 bhp hybrid) and an excellent code. The manifolds performance is spot on too so it only leaves the mix of n75, actuator and mbc in the equation.

I think it's great some people push beyond were the average person stops. What may be difficult now (for them) will more than likely be straight forward down the line (for us average people), that's how we learn and improve. Some people are just more driven than others to work it all out. Just my 2 pence worth. Sorry for going off track on Danny's thread. Not having a go at anyone.

The spring in the wastegate your using is 5 psi...... stock is 6 psi. Put a few turns on the actuator or even better test with a test pump until you get 6 -7 psi. Dont go mad when tightening.

Thanks Carl..

Just checked Vag-com zero Codes but earlier when i was driving it wasn't starting to spool till around 3krpm then was sluggish coming on boost...This was in 2nd and 3rd..

Im currently Using a Green spring which is slightly stiffer than the OEM one...But could the New Manifold flow be Pushing the Wastegate open?I can just use my Gauge to Tighten it to 24psi like last time...Tune it to the way it was before..?

Did you get my P'm about the MBC..

Its possible Danny but if anything i would have thought that the increased flow of the mani would reduce back pressure on the wastegate but i may be wrong on that one. I had your PM mate but i'm not too sure on the ports, i'm sure boost feed is on the bottom though.
I would only take actuator to 6-7psi cracking pressure using a gauge. I wouldn't go higher on a stock K04. You don't want to boost past 22 psi.... theres no point.

Yeah i thought that about the MBC..Il try the Boost Going in to the Bottom and then the other to the actuator? No?

Do i get the actautor line on a foot pump and watch the wastegate and pump and it should open up?

I'd leave the mbc alone (leave in your tool box) until you get this problem eliminated.
Yep..... pump connected direct to wastegate and measure the psi required to cause first movement of the actuator.

Sure will do that 2morro morning...yeah im leaving the MBC as i wanted to make sure it was right before adding it on....Lucky i did tbh.

Im learning that its a funny thing ''boost Pressure'' just the slightess think can **** thinks up...Like just changin the manifold..

Looking at the logs can you see if ive got a boost leak at all? Im not getting any Develation Codes boost it pretty late though...
Il report back in the mornings..

I Can't find my Foot pump anywere.

So ive Desided to wind the nut in around 2-3 turns maybe abit less....Boost is coming in earlier but Im lost for words at this current moment in time how hard the kick in the arse im getting..

It seems to be a tad later on spool up...Seems to spool up around 2.6krpm but its booming very hard at 3.6krpm...The actuator still needs bringing out more iirc to meet 24psi Peak...

If the forge green spring is softer than OEM im guessing it will need winding out more?

Defo a step in the right direction
