Will sound epic with the R32 lump mate! Fit the milltek manifolds before you go too far, they make a world of difference to the noise! Trust me 
Cheapest reputable stage 1 turbo kit £5k cheapest reputable supercharger kit £7.5k. But tbh I recon I could do it a lot cheaper! Have stripped down the engine for a rebuild ATM, and am at a crossroads, do I build it now for low compression. Hmmmm.

You know I did consider it. But with contact with oil White turns a nasty slightly yellowed colour, and would just look awful! Tbh you won't will barely see the block anyway.

You need it if you are going to add forced induction! NA lumps have higher compression (although I'm not technical enough to explain why)
Something to do with higher risk of predetonation at higher compression ratios. That said, the VAG 1.8T engines have pretty high compression ratios for a turbocharged engine.
Can't wait to see this tho, turbo or not

It does look like an ECossy a little bit, the colour, the rear wide arch and the rally wing, Ecossy had 2 types of wings, the whale tale and the rally type, that looks like the later
The price I paid for the respray has no relation to what anyone else would pay. Mates rates an all. Still wasn't cheap mind! I think with the body work I had done as well, with the company I went with you probably wouldn't get much change for 2k these days.
Not got much to show achieved really tbh, as I have been waiting for my crank to be reground. Oh, and I have refurbished the inlet manifold <3
