They aren't Tarox though are they? I have the same pads and I do like them a lot. Although I think sometimes I should of gone with RBF 660 rather than 600...who knows.

Need more pics though James...come on mate ;)

is a bit confusing. i was just saying i have tarox 6 pot calipers that seem worse than standard. they fade at high speed real badly im thinking of going back to standard. with decent discs and pads much like james

Are the standard set up Tarox? I'm confused lol

I was saying that maybe the pads are the problem with Joe's Tarox brakes. And changing the pads to ds2500's may improve the setup without forking out for new brakes.
I just wasnt sure if they made the ds2500's in tarox fitment.

Made a bit of progress today, welded new brackets to move the rad back and just drilled the cooler bracket 3cm back to move everything back a bit more. Had a first mock-up of intercooler pipework which is coming along nicely.

One problem is that as I now have a LHS inlet manifold, 70mm TB, TB sandwich plate AND phenulic gasket the pipework connecting to the TB clashes with the slam pannel.
Should be solved by making a wedged sandwich plate or worst case im going to have to trim away some of the slam pannel.

Will take some pics when I have everything how I want it :)

Lol I wouldn't know I have Brembo's :funk:

Ouch as for having to trim slam panel, I would try and avoid that.

Going well other than that, well done.

Yeah that was going to be the last resort I think, wouldnt need too much trimmage, a 1" notch I think would do the job.
I can force a pipe onto it but the silicon collapses a bit which will hinder airflow..

Make your own! :p
Yeah would be hard to produce the bends though, I suppose it could be carbon skinned after bending it up.

Carbon fibre is a bit overly used these days imo

Engine bay is looking pretty smart, I see you're finally getting there

The coil pack cover is a nice touch...

Cheers John. Yeah It is just a very rough mockup of pipework ect. I will be getting the chargepipe welded rather than using a silicon joiner and loads of other little things that will hopefully clean it all up. Getting there now though.

hi james i have just put a new engine in my car and need a bit of help with routing my vacuum pipes as the old engine had the connector valves and that seems to restrict the boost. do you have some pics of your set up?
