I have actually thought about that. Just finding a set of those wheels for reasonable money.
Well after someone on another forum giving me a suggestion I thought I would do a little chop to see what the result would be.
That was just a quick chop. The wheels would be the same colour as the centres of my FK seats.
Im also considering a set of Mk3 Cupra wheels aswell in the colour of the centres of my seats.
Sort of think I shouldnt of done the chop now.

looking good pal liking the roof (as mine has been done in black to haha).... i know your from Scotland & i'm from manchester way, but how much did it cost you to get the rear arch repaired from the rust that was there?? i've got rust on both arches as they've been rolled so would like it to be sorted out.

It cost me 420 all in. That was the getting a dent repaired on the roof and the roof painted the colour it is. The rear arch/panel getting repaired of the rust and treated and sealed and both of the mirror covers done.
Im really really happy with the job that was done aswell.

think mine would be a little bit cheaper though, as mine is both arches need repairing cause of the rust as they've been rolled & few tiny little dents & i mean little lol... my roof was already done
Not much been happening with the Mk2 really.
Put the aerial back onto the car, the car is still being used as a daily so its good having the option of the radio to listen to.
Ordered a new set of tyres today, after several recommendations I went for a set of Falken 912's in 205/45/16. These should be delivered tomorrow.
On holiday next week so hoping to get one or two little jobs done and give the car a good clean. Then I will be looking towards next year and what needs done after that. Any ideas for my next step etc are more than welcome!!

So these are getting fitted on Tuesday next week. They are a 45 profile, same as the Kuhmos I have on now but the sidewall looks alot smaller on these tyres

I got mine from camskill, paid 58.70 a tyre which I am really happy with. Ordered them on Monday morning and they were delivered Tuesday afternoon. If you go for 195/45 then they will be alittle cheaper. Its weird tho as they are a 45 profile same as the Kuhmo's I have on just now, but like I said above the sidewall on the Falkens looks much smaller.

. Although you could struggle to get inspiration from mine as its a daily and it only has a little baby engine in it.
