I driven the car quiter a bit today and it's not rubbed on anything so it looks like it's staying :D I'm hoping to get the car in to have a few bit's of body work sorted out including repainting the silver and carbon splitter, while it's in I'll be doing the lower splitter in carbon :D

Quick wash and a layer of red Mist.

Cars looking great Darren!.. What polish would u recommend for mine, and to get rid of swirls?

If your doing it by hand you could try Autoglym Super Resin Polish, it has fillers in it so anything you cant cut out will be filled.
Trying to polish out swirls by hand is hard work though.
If your using a DA or rotary theres loads to choose from, There's also different pads which will affect the cut of the polish aswell, Have a look on Detailing world mate, theres loads of info on there :D

Darren I need to start picking your brain on all this cleaning malarkey. My dirty bugger needs a proper scrubbing. Car looks ace and the pics are sweet as bud

I'm sure we can sort it out mate, if not Maz aint far away ;)

your car is looking well nice,i cannot seem to see a difference with the splitter though or is it just for protection?

At first it's job was to protect to OE splitter that I carbon'd and had painted, but now it's on I'm starting to really like the look of it, the pictures dont really do it justice, I'll try and edit a picture so it stands out a bit better.

That must have taken you ages to get through all 3 :D

I've been busy editing photos from the weekends rolling road day at AmD, I'll be back with an update later :D

Pics don't do that splitter any justice mate. Looks so nice in the flesh. Might have to get my hands on one of these D.K Splitter ;)

EL, you cant even get a normal splitter on never mind one of these where you'll need to use a drill:lol:

In all honesty though that splitter is a great addition.

The splitter looked really good at the rolling road day mate. Looks like it was meant to be there which was surely the aim :)

Pictures from AmD on Sunday
I had spent 2 day's preping the car for Sunday only for it to p1ss down with rain on Saturday night, needless to say it was filthy again by the time we got to AmD on Sunday :(

I had decided not to run the car on the rollers this time, I've not done a major engine mods since the last run other than a oil, filter's and plug change but the temptation was too strong :D

My last run was 290bhp & 325lb/ft on Sunday I got 283bhp & 330lb/ft :D
Not my smoothest graph

My BHP was down a bit but the day I got the 290bhp the air temps were a lot lower. TBH I'm pretty happy with what it ran :D

I think I might have to have a serious think about where I'm going power wise and start looking at the internals, i.e rods.

The new splitter went down well too and as it's not been ripped off by any speed bump's I'll be carbon wraping it soon :D
