Which Leon Cupra version do you own?

Perhaps they have picked up on quality too. So far (touching all the wood I can find) no rattles, no wind noise, headlights light up the road. Just need to get past the 600 miles so I can up the speed a little. Only issue I had on the drive home was an over enthusiastic emergency braking system - scared the life out of me at the time. Hopefully a one off.

Ordered my 3dr Monsoon Grey Leon Cupra 280 with the Sub8 pack, bucket seats, Michelin PSC2 tyres, ACC, sunroof and SEAT sound system a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm just patiently waiting and probably accounting for a good chunk of views for any Cupra 280 videos on YouTube
Just got mine yesterday...as posted in other threads. But I hear you ref. the YouTube vids...I probably account for the other half of the view counts! Watched every one several times whist waiting for mine to be delivered, including some of the ones in foreign languages! (The translate subtitles function is crap!) My favourite one is probably the Autocar one where they race the Cupra vs the Golf R...and the Cupra is quicker! "What a dark horse of a car!" Wonder if TopGear is going to cover it on upcoming series?

Lol, gald I'm not the only one who did that! Did you watch the foreign one that was talking about the LED headlights? :)

Mines coming next week :santa:
Not that I have been counting, but it'll be 5 months, 11 days since I placed the order, or to be exact, 164 days
Been a long and tough wait, and Youtube has been my saving grace

Mines also "Dynamic Grey"...I was a little surprised when it arrived, it's more white than grey. It almost looks very light blue in some lights, in the dark it just looks white. Its a far lighter shade than I was expecting...the pictures online & the SEAT website are a little deceiving I think. Not to say that I don't like it...I do, just not entirely what I was expecting. When I went to my local dealership to take a look a couple of months ago, they only had Monsoon Silver, White & Red Leons on show...the Cupra they had was in white.

Delivery right for before Christmas, nice! You know what they say: When you get older, your toys just come in bigger boxes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying mine! :D

Luckily the demo I drove was dynamic and got to see it before ordering. In fact that's what swung it for me. Was going to go for red or monsoon grey prior to that. I like the fact it changes in different light.

Yeah, gonna take some beating this Christmas present ;)

Hi there guys, I've just place my order today for a 280 with dsg, the long wait now begins. Pretty chuffed. Lots to learn.

Monsoon grey and just the seat sound pack, it has 90% of the gear my current vRS has and what it doesn't have I don't consider essential, if seat offered a heated screen and kessy believe me I'd have ticked them, cest la vie, maybe on the face lift? Who knows. This is my first seat, been a life long VAG driver bar a brief foray with a blue oval (still to this day not sure why I did that) let's hope it serves me as well as all the others.

Pretty similar choise as me. I went for black and seat sound, but with leather seats too. Would also like kessy and heated windscreen. Sitting in my car at 7am with an icy windscreen and fogged up glass is a major annoyance I must admit.

I've ordered a 280DSG Sub8 in Nevada White with orange line (the same as the one in many of the press launch photos). Ordered about a month ago and have been told it's got an early January build slot. I'll believe that when I see it!!

You may be suprised. They seem to be coming through pretty quick at the moment.

I'd have to agree...had to wait while the heater warmed up this morning to de-ice from the inside, still only took a 2-3mins. A heated front screen would be a nice touch.

I just took my baby for it's 1st wash this morning, its looking all shiney again like the day I got it. No rain forcast for the next few days, thought I might as well...however, driving (from London) to Bristol on Wednesday, its going to get full of bugs & muck, damn it! I must admit, I stood in the street for a minute or two admiring it before I retreated from the cold. It is a very pretty car...and its finally mine! (Only had it a week & a half now...) :santa:

Lucky you, mine needs a wash as the weather has been awfull here, but as it is still below freezing no chance. Pouring rain tomorrow with gales so it might get a bit of a wash from the rain.

FYI: Seat hired after the summer holiday break 800 new workers for their plant due to strong risen sales.
Delivery times are dropping atm as some already experienced.

Do you have the Cupra ? I'd be over the moon with 2 minutes :D

My 1.6TDI ibiza hasn't even cleared 10% of a fogged up windscreen on a cold morning within 2 minutes. Let alone deiced it. I'd probably be waiting 15+ minutes if I was just using the heated blower to deice it. So I always use a scraper and deicer spray.

Thats good in the respect cars get out of the factory quicker, but bad in the respect that you could potentially have someone on the first day of the job who is totally clueless assembling your car :p

Good to know you have a similar date to me, ordered a Sub8 mid last month and have recently been given a build date of the last week in January, I was told to expect about 3-4 weeks for delivery.
Out of interest what doors, seats and roof did you go for?

5 doors (unfortunately I have to be practical...), black and white leather electric-adjustable seats (not the bucket ones) and yes, it has a roof (not sure what you meant there!!!)
