Doubt any of the new seats have hit the line yet tbh.. and think about it the production line juggles lots of different options

I guess so. I am not really bothered as i've always thought once you have adjusted the seat you will never touch it again (i'll be the only driver of my car), so in that respect they seem a little pointless for myself atleast. But i'll take it if they're going free as a standard option :p

I'll contact SEAT and see what they say.

Mine's arrived at the dealer - picking it up next Saturday. Ordered 7 July. So just about 4 months on the dot.

I have never had to adjust my seat since I first got the car as I am the only driver, and why would you want something you don't need just cos it's free, just something else to go wrong.

True, but they are pretty cool in the brief few seconds you use them. I've not ever known an electric seat to go wrong, either.

I had electric seats in my old Passat which were nothing but bother. Never again. Manual seat adjustment doesn't go wrong. Last time it cost me a trip to the auto electrician and left me £260 lighter due to needing a new wiring loom....

Having taken delivery of my 280 manual 5d, I would not cry too much over the rumoured R - not after watching the Autocar and Autoexpress on-track comparisons with Golf R.

My lease company got back to me, said they spoke to the SEAT dealer who my car order is with. They confirmed any Cupra 5dr models specced with Leather seats that have a build week after 45 will have an electric front drivers seat. They also confirmed at the same time my build week is 49.

So provided the dealer was correct, looks like any of us with Cupra 5dr + leather seat orders could get electric front drivers seat.

Hi just joined to say that I ordered my cupra 280 3 dr manual in monsoon grey with winter pack on 28 august and am picking it up this coming Tuesday. Just over 11 weeks from ordering to picking up.Needless to say can barely contain myself.*
Great forum and very informative

Recived an phone call today to let me know that the delivery time on my cupra has been bought forward from the 28th December to being ready to collect from Thursday 20th November and by a massive coincidence I'm off on the 21st so should be able to go and collect it in time for the weekend :D

8wks from placing the order to (hopefully!) collecting it. Fingers crossed there's no delays I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning :)

Possibly onboard the "Galicia" then, currently in the Bay of Biscay and due in the UK Monday. Not that I'm stalking all car transport vessels travelling between Barcelona and the UK.

About 6 days. Galicia went to Tyne first and then Sheerness the next day. The L'Audace has just left Barcelona today bound for Tyne, I am hoping mine is on-board.
