TT front end conversion. Drive shaft splines questions

So I have a TT rack, lower control arms, 312mm calipers and front hubs to collect soon for my pd150.

i have seen the spline hole on the TT hubs is smaller than stock 1.8t or vr6 splines and if memory serves correct then my 2.0 Jetta and likely my pd150 is both using the larger bore spline setup on the drive shafts.

so my question is this. Should I swap out the bearing and the hub assembly and fit into the TT carrier or purchase TT driveshafts from the seller also and just refit the smaller splined 2wd shafts to my pd150?

I Ask as I can fit new bearings to the TT hubs so would be willing to mix and match to get the best setup for the pd150 whether that be the larger diameter or smaller diameter spline set and bearing fitted.

cheers

The PD150 Leon and mk4 Golf/ Bora /Jetta use shafts with a 30mm bi-hex nut on the end, I'm pretty sure some of the earlier 2WD Audi TTs have this type as well but generally speaking anything with the BAM engine just like the later mk1 Cupra Rs they'll have they're own type of shaft and hubs which utilise a 17mm Allen head bolt instead.
You can swap the hub flanges over to the appropriate ones but you'll also need to use the correct bearings to suit.

The hubs I picked up are the larger internal diameter spline so should bolt up no issues.

If I remember rightly the actual splined section is the same size, what differs is the fact one is made for a nut and the other for a bolt which has a smaller recess in the hub flange.

Do you have pictures of what you plan to install?

Both can be used! I spent god knows trying to source a driveshaft after mine shattered doing laps around a roundabout.
They can both be used, 1.8t and 1.9tdi are the same just older 1.9tdi had solid shafts

What are referring to exactly when you say solid shafts?

Ok they're clearly from an earlier TT as they have the recess for the 30mm bi-hex nuts.
They'll fit your PD150 driveshafts.
