It took years to find a couple of them.
the silver one and black one.
I was at a car show years ago when those neo ones came out and a stall had them all.
I bought a red and a yellow one. I couldn’t afford them all.
Then took years to track the other two down.
I’ve always been into collecting models and tracking down rare things you’re after is all part of the fun… sometimes.

Still want to get mine remapped. New clutch is bedded in now but I still need to clean the intake manifold so I can get better airflow. Drove to the Peak District and back this past week and I can feel it choking at low revs (which made crawling round the M25 stressful). The thought of the clutch pedal snapping wormed its way into my head too, which gave me the fear.

Service seems to have done some good though - more than 60mpg on the way up and 57 on the way back - even with all the bank holiday traffic. Amazing fuel consumption, lower tax and insurance, polybushes in all the right places, rear ARB, now if only the power range were a bit more usable, I wouldn't want a Cupra R anymore...

Car sounds blocked first impression yet mpg seems fine, i do get higher sometimes if a drive normal in 6th on motorway but that could be the map even the cat removed ..

the cat on yours might even be blocking up

They don’t have opening doors etc but the Otto models are phenomenal in detail.
My only slight criticism with the Leon’s is the wheels look ever so slightly smaller in scale than 1.18. As if they’ve modelled 17” alloys.

They don’t have opening doors etc but the Otto models are phenomenal in detail.
My only slight criticism with the Leon’s is the wheels look ever so slightly smaller in scale than 1.18. As if they’ve modelled 17” alloys.

Yea I looked, pitty but still look good..
Hard to get now and jumping in price like that 5 I have as it was a limited

I do like both options, but sympathetic mods that add to the character & actually belong to the style work very well.
I have a mate that has a Focus ST, but he has dressed it as an RS, all stickers, spoiler, thrills & spills & to me that is a big ? You can't pretend it's an entirely different model, not to those who know anyway, so don't imo.

Someone who used to work at our place had a fiesta which was dressed up like an ST that had crashed into the Hotwheels factory. Horrible looking thing.

Yeah i got to admit you guys are right but I was part of the maxpower fastcar mod scene, I admit I liked it and the meets were cool not like today's meets, but it was just a dressed up 1.4cl seat Ibiza m reg which cost a fortune to do, the car was completely impractical but it was the scene then which what I enjoyed had no money for the pub plus side i suppose. But I much prefer my car now and much of today's cars which are oem plus looking

Now, however, I'd have a meltdown if they brought it back with diamante gear knob & matching accessories, white & red leather interior, games console in place of my stereo & personalised crap on everything. Same mate I'd be gutted if they Chaved up my car like that, I forgot about pimp my ride was a good show for the time, but ali gee was a funny film loved the tense 30 mph street race between west side and east side ?. I honestly can't remember last time I seen a maxpower car.

Just had my Cupra R on the rollers at Badger 5 - made a healthy 228hp stock. After a remap, it is pushing 280hp and feels like a totally different car.

yea seen some classics back in the max power days were they looked like the drove though Halfords and come out the other end with all the mods,stickers ect lol

seen some of the release cars they have done like the capri can be expensive though, not sure why a capri because they were always crap at handling lol
