Not bad for 25 years old I think! There's a rust bubble zit on the bonnet unfortunately, but the wax beads hide it in the rain!Did I spot you on A413 on Saturday near Gt Missenden approx
Looking really mint
Did I spot you on A413 on Saturday near Gt Missenden approx 3.15pm ?
If not was surprised to see a silver Cupra R heading toward Aylesbury though I was in my Toledo and not the Cupra.
I used to live hemel. Till I moved up to near skeggy. Used to see a few mk1 about. Up here 1 sitting on a drive way . And a pd150 down the road for sale... other than that not seen one driving about sadly.Did I spot you on A413 on Saturday near Gt Missenden approx

Damn... the UK weather sure is a no-vacation dude, always spreading rust all over! Black is fine. But Red would match the roll bar. When i was getting the car ready for brands hatch. I noticed the subfram was going rusty. Only surface rust. View attachment 49566 So I pulled it out. Going to strip the arms View attachment 49568 . And sand blast the lot and repaint it. Even the antiroll bar has a bit of rust spots. View attachment 49567
Considering it's never been on the road this subframe. Its a few years old but "never used" if you know what I mean.
Think I just going to do it black.. unless you lot other ideas
My clutch went at 75k and it's not even remapped.Well the intercooler is done, the bottom pipe must of been rocking for a while letting air in as now the car is more smoother though the gears instead of lag from turbo , the AC had to drained and was very low, i always thought once in it didn't need re-gassing but it needs doing every three years ac was fine but since done its freezing last time it was done was around 2013.. and now the intercooler system is working correct in high gear and high boost i can feel a slight clutch slip the car has done 73k .. question is whats the life of the clutch as im reading 50-100k its standard oem clutch and car is mapped but only a generic map since 2012

defiantly get it on the motorway as you hit boost then half way though going to full boost it slips, before the intercooler in 6th it never did that other than odd time town driving, that's why i think with the pipe now fully secured im feeling it more, going to nip in garage tomorrow .. i thick the sachs clutch is the one to get.. people mention DMF ect might just stick to standard.. what clutch did you get fitted ?My clutch went at 75k and it's not even remapped.
It slipped for a couple of weeks and then exploded on the motorway, so I'd bite the bullet if it's slipping.
bet mine around the same as its a pd150 .. from what ive read the DM is standard .. and may as well get full kit as some don't come with the bearing seems daft not to change itStandard LUK and DM flywheel.
£840 all in back in 2020.
Yeah, I would go for a DM also. LUK kit should be complete LUK setbet mine around the same as its a pd150 .. from what ive read the DM is standard .. and may as well get full kit as some don't come with the bearing seems daft not to change it
