And don't forget you drive your motor, modern cars are full of driving aids that get in your way and drive you. At many a track day I meet guys who love there older motors as they like to drive the car and enjoy the freedom. No nanny safety features. Once you get it back you will love it.

Nice mate bet you can't wait to see what it sounds like, is it scorpion that as I think you said miltek is discontinued now which i didn't know shame they are good, ive herd them on YouTube and they sound well just a tad louder I think.
Absolutely no idea of the brand I'm afraid and it has no markings anywhere. Some sort of custom job presumably.

It's going on on Monday 🙂

Aye my pipes suffered from the tabs wearing so I fitted spacers and silicone pipes with jubilee clips

it was more than wear as the plastic broke off , i was think off adding a jubilee clip but i don't think it would add as its a metal end pipe

Got hose back on (all cleaned up and sealed with RTV) then test drive - boost nice and steady from low down.
Replaced diesel filter and pollen filter as they weren’t done during annual service

how did that blow off with the clips, did oil come out of the bottom one? also Halfords have good deals on service gear got a oil filter for under 3 quid, pollen were 4 and the fuel filter was 17 quid

Think it’s just over time as I’ve not checked them in ages!!! Very little to no oil, just residue
Fuel filter was 10.77 and pollen filter 4.93 from AUTODOC

I had some issues with my boost pipe there a few years ago - seems to be a place things go wrong.

Insurance up for renewal. Current insurer didn't send me a reminder so gave them a call. I'm moving at the moment, so changed address at the same time. They couldn't insure me, so they already their 'preferred partner' to quote.

Classic insurance company...you have to chase them up, then they pluck a figure that they hope you take or leave you to rush around finding a realistic quote.
As for address, a good few years ago now, I literally moved down the road, could see the other house, but my new one had a private drive, last on the terrace, security lights & countryside. My insurer raised my premium because it insisted I had moved into a troublesome area with higher crime. I told them I could see the new house from my front door, so how could the area be worse if it's in the same place? They wouldn't budge, so ditched them. They are corrupt scoundrels but we are at their mercy.
Best of luck with it 🤞
