Does anyone know what should be done/changed at the 40K service? My FR 20VT had the cambelt/pump/aux belt done at just over 4 years old ~32k miles. It's now coming up on 40K. I assume it's just oil, filter, pollen filter, gearbox oil? Cheers.

Just had my 20k Altea 1.9tdi serviced and noticed it excluded air filter change. Can't believe SEAT maintenance regime is for a new air filter at 40,000 miles but pollen filter at 20,000 - I know which is more important to me [and the car!]. Paid the money, got the stamp in the book then...

Heya I'm coming up to needing a 40k service needing done on my FR TFSI and am trying to find out if anything else needs doing, specifically the cam belt but have been unable to find a definite answer. Can anyone help?? Thanks sk

Just got a quote from local dealer for 40k service for our Ibiza 1.4. They'd charge £210. Is this an ok price? Our cheap local garage will do it for less of course but is it worth going with dealer on this? We've owned the Ibiza for a year and will maybe sell it before the next service...

Ive booked my car in at ted johnsons in barnsley, they quoted me 241 pounds for my fourth service! does this seem to cheap to be true? or is that what about everyone has payed. BTW its a Leon mk1 fr tdi. that is also including a brake fluid change.
