On undertaking the annual shovelling of sh!te out of my wifes ibiza this morning, I noticed on lifting the mats, the carpet under the rear passenger footwell was damp*
A brief search on damp carpets in a mk5 ibiza yields little, I can only assume these are typically fairly dry cars.
Hi guys, so i have found that my rear driver side footwell is wet. I did so searching and found a few problems it could have been. And it is none of them (few listed below)

Are there any pipes or holes under them? I'm getting damp carpets under the mats....but its like the water is coming up the way, as its only under the mats and I can't find any water around them.
Its worse on the drivers side...

Has anyone come across a smell of damp when they first tern their air con/ climate control off? This only lasts less than a minuet but its still rather annoying.
