lowering

Dear Amigos, I have a Leon FR which i'm getting upgraded to Stage 1 as a result a lot of people told me i need to lower the car due to increased horsepower, what are my options? and other than lowering springs what else do i need to do to have fun safely ... much appreciated...

i just bought myself a full set of 20mm lowering springs and a neuspeed induction kit (second time round) for the small fee of £50 all in woop woop.

hi, i have coioovers in my ibiza, the back isnt low enough for me so i am going to take the adjuster cups out, is it a case of taking out the lower arm bolt and the spring with come out without much fuss or will it be a nightmare geting the spring back in? cheers

i also brought a set of g max lowering springs second hand but put them on standard shocks their 40 mm springs.. the back looks really good as the tyre just sits under the arch but the front still sat at standard height and cant figure out why.. anyone got any ideas??

i have the seat ibiza mk 2 and i want to lower it , the trouble is the place i live is well known for speed bumps. how much would you recomend lowering by and can you recomend any gear i should use. web links would be useful Thanks

hey guys im fitting a h&r cup kit to my leon soon and was wonderind what other parts would be worth replacing whilst im at it? i heard front top mounts are worth replacing. is there anything else? thanks in advance

anybody know if golf springs are the same as the toledo? found a couple of sets on ebay, both for tdi, just wondering if they're the same, cos ther pretty cheap and im a tight arse lol

I just want to put my leon 1.6 down 40mm on springs, without replacing the standard shock absorbers. Is this safe to do? it wont damage my car or shock absorbers in anyway will it?

I am interested in lowering my tdi leon mk1. I would like it low, but not crazy low, and want it to handle better. But I don't want to spend much! What setups are available and at what price? What about suspension setups off higher model leons? Thanks Andy

Looking into lowering Emilys arosa and getting it a bit more solid as it tends to roll a lot at the sight of a corner. not looking at coilovers, shocks and springs will be fine. can anyone post pics with how much and what make you have lowered. many thanks guys and girls steve

Since i lowered my Ibiza on vmaxx coilovers ive had a rubbing noise at about 60mph onwards. If it let off the accelerator it goes away but comes back when i accelerate. Only things i found were the antiroll bar links rubbing on the wall of the engine bay (i ground these down so it cant be...
