Hi
Managed to wangle a day off 2 so thought i would do a bit of tinkering,
1. Pollen Filter, i take it is in the passenger foot-well, removed the 2 gold coloured screws to find a turbo looking fan but no pollen filter, i take it, it should be there?
2. When i brought the car i was not...
My 1999 doesn't appear to have a pollen filter. I removed the small panel at the bottom passenger side of the windscreen cowel panel but apart from a heap of leaves, there is nothing in there! Is that where it is supposed to be? Does anyone have a picture of theirs? Is mine supposed to have one?
Hey guys i bought a pollen filter today, to see if that will help my demisting problem, any idea how to change the pollen filter? i thought there was a tutorial on here but cant seem to locate it.
Cheers
Im looking at getting a pollen filter on my car to try and stop it getting quite so damp in these winter months. From what i can see here i will need the 12 19 and 18
Has anyone got a picture of these on their car. Or removed aircon and got them spare and left over? Cheers.
Finally got the car to demist properly. I had the leaky footwell problem and sorted it out last week. However, since the filter was damp, hardly any air was blowing out of the vents.
Just put a new filter in and hey presto, demist works now.
Hi All,

Your help would be gratefully recieved.:)
Good Morning everyone.
I have found that rainwater is starting to collect around the pollen filter of my car. It looks as though the access cover has warped and is letting rainwater in.
I am told by a bodyworks specialist that this is a known fault, but that SEAT (and dealers) are keeping...

Hi.
Does anyone know the part number for the 2 screws which fasten the pollen filter housing onto the scuttle panel? They're the 2-part jobbies. Put 1 piece in, then screw the other part into it which expands it to fit.
I've just broken mine changing the filter !!
It's a MKII...
I've posted in another section but not had any replies :(
I've serviced my son's car and all parts suppled have fitted great - even the £40+ plat plugs :D
I've search this site to find the location of the pollen filter :confused:

I'm no mechanic, but I thought even I would be able to change a filter. I bought a pollen filter for my 2005 Cordoba 1.9 TDI 130HP and was told that it fitted into a compartment under the bonnet, near the screen. Try as I might I can't find any compartment or anywhere that a filter might fit...
I think my pollen filter must be blocked. After using my air con my windows steam up badly. It's fine if i've used ECON for a while but if I use the air con for a while and switch back to ECON - the windows steam up.
So there isn't a leak - it's something to do with the air con itself.
I've...
