snapped

[/IMG] hi all this is what has snapped off, is the hole piece removable so i can get a new bit welded on or is it long gone. i have searched but only find threads on the pedal not the bracket that holds the cable any advise would be help as i will be doing all the work my self :banghead2

went to open my bonnet and when i pulled the release catch at the front of the car it snapped could anyone enlighten me on how to get the bonnet open as it is due a test Ive tried to unhook the catch under the bonnet but it only moves slightly and i cant see any other way to release it thanks

Jacking up the front end of the car to check a tyre as it was slowly going down and got the jack up no problem then the handle snapped off! [:@] Managed to jack it back down though. Looks like the handle parts are weak metal. So, will it be covered under warranty?

the tyre garage kindly snapped the plastic nipple off the pillar that the parcel shelf string clips into, so now only one side of the shelf lifts when you open the boot. Does anyone know if i can buy the clip or do i need to replace the whole pillar?
