strut

Came to clean my panel filter today and two of the bolts holding the forge strut brace to the car have been rounded off. I can get two of the bolts out, but cant get the other out. I have given up cleaning the filter, but am now left with only being able to tighten up one bolt. Not sure...

How much difference does a strut brace make to a cupra? Only asking coz I was going to order one on tuesday

do you need to compress the spring with the strut still on the car? ?? ? ? or just remove the whole strut ?
