I have a 54 plate Cupra TDI with 45000 on the clock.Recently I have noticed a whining noise when driving at higher speeds over 40mph.I am guessing it is a wheel bearing as the noise is still there when you depress the clutch and also the whining decreases as the speed decreases.No whining noise...

Hey all... i have been to look at an Alhambra SE TDi on a 2003 I was told at the time by the garage its a 130 PD engine... However i noticed the engine code to be an AUY and this seems to be a 115 Engine??? or am i wrong ??? Anyone able to shed some light on it for me??? Thanks

I have a Seat Altea 1.9 Tdi 05, over the weekend it has developed a load knocking noise, there is no power lose but there is also a vibration on acceleration. I’ve had a stethoscope on it and it sounds like top end noise. The noise gets better as the engine warms any ideas?
