As it seems the first few should be arriving with customers over the next few weeks, does anyone know if any dealers are expecting (or already have taken delivery of) a Mk3 2.0TDI 184 for use as a demonstrator?

I'm very tempted to order one, but would really like to drive-before-I-buy....

As of last week SEAT fleet did not have a single 184ps for test in the UK - I had to book a 150. Individual dealers should start to get them for retail customers soon I would have thought.

I was able to test drive the 184 HP version recently. the engine was much more lively than the 150 (the most important aspect for me). also, no complains about the multi link, the ride was smoother than in the 150 but it may be caused by the 17 inch wheels vs 18 inch on the 150.

the sound of the engine was really nice when accelerating, you check a quick video I made

2.0TDI 184 PS i drove over a week ago

i also drove a 5-Door 184 PS a few months ago, this one was Spanish registered though

They'd tell you anything to get you to pick up a 150 that they already had in stock in the UK than them having to wait for their money while Seat built a car from scratch!

I'm not sure why they felt the need to say that to be honest. I told them I wasn't a fan of the mk3, but if I was getting one I'd wait until the 184 was out. I don't have any confidence in Liverpool's sales or service department anyway.
