I know this has been covered loads before, but from what I can tell, there aren't many PETROL Mk4 Ibiza's with have had aftermarket cruise control fitted. (proper stalks etc) Most of the threads concern TDi Ibiza's, the job seems to be easier on the TDi lumps somehow

Can you tell me if you have had aftermarket cruise control successfully fitted to your petrol Mk4. Where and how much? Many thanks in advance. ;)

Yep, mine was retrofitted by the dealer that sold me the car, it was part of the deal. No cruise, no deal :D

They took a while doing it, I reckon it must have been one of the first 20vt's to be done (dec 2005).

They say there is 1 extra wire needed on the petrol ones, there are people on here that can/have done them I think.

Edit, Mine was done at Kings Seat in North Baddesley, Southampton. No Idea on cost but I would think dealer prices would be a bit silly.

You could always try JKM who are down south or alternatively drop techie a message as he did my cruise install.

I'd happily trust techie, I've sat down at his workshop drinking tea a few times when he worked on cars - assuming he'll do a 1.8T (I think he will)

Good news Mike, I have had a good read of some wiring diagrams and by the looks of it its exactly the same as the diesel job its just a different pin number on the engine ECU, so should be the same price, £180 fitted.
