Nooooo Liam the H&Rs might not fit the cupra r wheels!

Rear brakes do make a difference don't they. Take a while to bed in but certain adds to the stopping power.

Hmm, I'd like to know that too.
I guess from looking at the photos it may be because of the chamfer between the face of the spacer and the hubcentric bit that locates the wheel ?

Ok worse case scenario they dont fit into the wheel because of the 'sloped bit' could it be machined of on a lathe? I suppose its possible if you take it to a proffesional who knows what he is doing. Im pretty pissed off now to be perfectly honest, firstly the wrong bolts show up with the spacers and now the latter may not fit correctly either  [:@]

I may be wrong and they may have updated the design but when I bought some, being hubcentric, I expected them to fit on no problem. On most wheels they fit on fine but with LCR wheels they don't. I am pretty sure other people have reported this in the past...hopefully you don't have any problems Liam.

Well there is a way of finding out without even taking my wheels off - I have a full size LCR sitting in the boot. Will be checking fitment in the morning... Fingers crossed.

Looking at the photos again it looks like theres a similar chamfer on the inside face of the spacer. This would explain the large chamfer on the outside face. If you try and machine the outer there may not be enough meat there to take the load or it may even break thru and you would lose the hubcentric bit. If the chamfer is the issue then the only get round would be to put a larger chamfer on the inside of the wheel which is gonna cost ££££'s.
I hope I'm wrong and they fit but if they dont the bright side is you havnt used them so will be able to return them and get some that do fit.
Bit of a bummer I know but at least you wont be out of pocket.

Good news! After a little test on the full size LCR wheel living in the boot the spacer appeared to fit perfectly.
Now all I need to do is hope that the spacer fits the hub without any issue and of course wait for the correct wheel bolts to turn up.

Finally im booked in at Amd on the 21st of this month too - Im praying that they can solve my continued brake problems. Might be a 3' Miltek downpipe on the cards also if funds are in a good place.

Comments and criticism welcome.

Epicly bad news! Just ticked over 97k and my clutch has started to slip - I'm completely gutted and theres no way in hell I can afford to replace this right now

Lowering seems way, way off right now - As mentioned the cars just hit 97k and the brakes and clutch now take full priority over any modifications.

AmD a week today (21st) so i'll be getting them to fully confirm whether the clutch and dmf will need replacing while the brakes are being sorted.

100k service in 3000 miles too!! - me and my car are not friends right now...[:@]
