you have to get different ones for the locking wheel nuts.
No surrounds do not fit but the plates have a black border around them so think they look good on there own anyway.

Still not happy with the rear number plates spoiler paint I am getting to picky I think!

That's a shame about the surround not fitting on the rear. Have you fitted the front surround?

There's specific shaped covers for the locking bolts. I think thats how I lost a few... I didn't realise until just the other week that there was a difference so I must've put a locking cover on a normal bolt and it just flew off whilst driving!

I've got 4 covers that are a different shape, but I have Mcgard locking bolts instead of the Seat ones so they don't fit. There are two different size locking bolt covers but neither will fit unfortunately

Ah right I see, no I wouldn't fit just the front would look silly IMO, never actually bought them which is lucky, Boo bought 2 by mistake and I tried it out at the National meet and it would hang over the edge and look stupid.
I pushed the covers snug so they hopefully will stay put, got the silly plastic tweezers at about 70p to make life easier when removing them!

I heard it cost about £70 fro 4 wheel alignment, then read lots of thread with people arguing that 4 wheel alignment can be done on the ibiza if the person knows what they are doing, is this bollocks? Have all you guys with coils just gone for 2 with no issues?

Not sure about the mk4 but on the mk2 and 3 you can use camber shims on the rear to adjust the camber on the rear. But you only really need to use these if you want to change the camber away from standard on the rear.

Few things done;

Lots of stone chips around the car repaired myself (some look better than others!) mainly on the bonnet.
Only 2 weeks ago I properly got rid of the wet sanding marks of the bonnet with Sonus polish kits with sfx1,2 and 3 then 2 layers of Dodo Juice Purple Haze and the car is looking alot more how it did back when it was detailed and protected for Autumn.

Pressed plates refitted again as they were coming off with Halfords sticky pads!

W8 light fitted thanks to Steve on here for selling it to me at Edition38 all wired up and ready!

Momo gear lever gaiter (still needs trimming thou)

And most importantly I have now ordered Weitec coilovers after umming and ahhin for well over a year. Will also get new top mounts suggested but not sure when this will all be fitted yet as trying to get someone to help but no joy yet.
Will also need to get the cupra & powerflex bushes I have had ages fitted at the same time before the wheel alignment is done.

Future plans;

I am thinking of working to a stage 2 remap but will take a while and want a few other little things done first such as;

Respray the rear bumper's spoiler as still not happy with the peeling paint thank you Seat!

LED lights for w8 light maybe

Seat door sill protectors

Tints

Was thinking of getting black headlining and plastics from the cupra but not so bothered now.

Will probably sell my 312 second hand brakes and buy new ones next

Awesome GTI (not got them yet only ordered on Friday) the prices were the same really on every website, but the postage was varying massively. Got free postage partly cos I bought a few bits in the past and cos of the mess up with the bits twice when I bought my ARB from them.

Yes that is how much I paid.

Thanks ibiza_adam, yes the plan is to go for a stage 2 remap next year. So next purchase is FMIC and Forge hoses and then I may just get the clutch and remap done at once.
A friend of mine who has a mate running a performance Ford garage is branching out and and is about to start doing Revo maps so we are gonna see if he can do e a good deal and be easier to go to a rolling road a bit closer to home than Essex!
After that not sure a few little mods and then try and get my own place and stop spending money on this car that has taken over 3 years to do!

Okay a proper update for once!

Over a year ago I bought some powerflex & cupra bushes car has been making a squeaking noise for nearly a year now but only when it's damp so forgot about it over the summer but the noise was so bad now people were staring so had these fitted to see if it would help

Went to Rolling road day at AmD back in the Summer and wanted them to fit all this all at once for me and they did 4 wheel alignment as well. They did however tell me the the front ARB collar is broken and they did not have any in so I now have to get that fitted (will uprate that) and wheel alignment done yet again next week!

You can see my wheel is already damaged by our local roads went out for a few things today and went over a deep drain cover ans that is what done it! My nice wheel are like this a bit already so am thinking of refurbing the standard ones and puttign them back on as am not getting on too well with these low profile tyres they are just not up to our crap roads!
I also have had to remove the nice wheel nut covers as had to buy a set of new locking wheel nuts ans the covers do not fit them!
Oh well new front ARB will go on next week and it does drive really nice now was getting so fed up of the bouncy FR suspension I actually wanted to get rid of the car and cos things keep going wrong!

edited my above post guys, cannot go lower until ARB sorted and also changing wheels back, bit anoyyed ATM to be honest.

my bad! that's bummer! what profile are you running atm? is it 40's? i never ran 40's due to roads in brum/cov (literally like some of the roads in some of the levels of COD)
so i am running 45's, makes a big difference (as the more tyre profile, takes away more shock)
hopefully everything gets sorted soon! chin-up :D

yeh gonna go back to 45 again I think as it is not working shame as I love my wheels but they are getting ruined by the crap roads, yes I am going to check the tyre pressures another thing with low profile can never tell if they are low, the car is parked on a slope though in that pic as they both look low on the front but I will check them anyway.
