Miles better even though its not been lowered too much yet!

Where did you get your front wishbone bushes from? Im getting really bad tyre wear and a rubbery squeaking noise, so going to get the rear cupra bushes, thought i may aswell get the front powerflex ones too whilst the wishbones were off!

Yes the horrible squeaking noise I had has gone now which I am most pleased about was so embarrassing and irritating! I can't remember where I got the powerflex bushes from tbh had them for about a year and a half and apparently powerflex factory has been burnt down so you can't get them right now, I 'm sure there are other companies that are similar though but I'm sure if you are quick all the websites that are suppliers will have some left.

I think I chose the stupidest month to get the car lowered my local town has new craters appearing everywhere cos of all this rain at the mo! I am already used to avoiding pot holes cos of these wheels and tyres but it is getting ridiculous last night the car behind flashed his headlights at me cos I was swerving avoiding holes he must have thought I was drunk!
Gotta sort the broken ARB today:censored:

Got Fabia ARB links/collars part n.o 6Q0411315N http://www.theskodashop.co.uk/product/Fabia_>07_Front_Anti-Roll_Bar_Drop_Link_6Q0411315N# fitted today they showed me them before and showed me the old ones which they said were NOT broken just had play in them so a lil confused why AmD told me they were broken but the steering now feel even more tight and alot nicer to drive not worrying about it. Suspension DONE!

i have an insane amount of play its soo light its not funny haha. u think this would help me?

probab;y if you know there is play but it is hard to tell you that would solve it as cos I had all that work done at once it seriously feels a thousand times better, but after driving a week and a few days with coilovers and new bushes that stopped the creaking noise but this has tightened things up as well so can tell it has made an extra bit of difference.

So it wasn't actually the ARB that was worn, it was your drop links! A much cheaper fix and at least you won't have to get your wheel alignment done again :)

well they said on the phone your ARB collar is broken but my local garage said they were not broken?! No wheel alignment, only took them half an hour so only cost me £77 I was freaking out it was gonna cost well over a hundred and have spent sooooo much this month on various things that could not wait!

Car sat for 3 days in snow.
No updates except my headlight switch seems to be having a fit and turning on all fogs lights as well and sometimes not turning off and then I thought one of my ballasts had failed but it has come back on today?!
Service will be due this month then when I am with a insurance company who will let me FMIC and stage 2 remap will commence for the Summer!

Hows your motor holding up under the snow Aimez? Plans for it for 2010?

Mine is looking about as dirty as it's been since I've owned...tried to wash all road salt etc off it, outdoor tap had frozen, went inside to get buckets of water from in the house and realised all my car shampoo was also frozen. It was not meant to be. lol

I am so upset I have never not cleaned my car for this long but the hose has been frozen for months!lol
Got a new headlight switch fitted today only took 15 mins to fit but cost £90:ban:

Wish I'd tried to get a second hand one now didn't realise it was gonna cost that much!
But it is done now. My car got stuck in my drive the last two days when I went home to see tot eh dog and have lunch, spent ages freeing it!

Plans for this year are to finish the car! Renew insurance next month with Flux or the like so I can then get uprated clutch FMIC and stage 2 remap.
Little things will be service this month/next month, new wipers some LED sidelights and maybe LED interior lights. Wire up w8 light properly, black headlining and pillars like the cupra (not sure when I will do this).
Would also like tints and to fit my standard wheels back on and refurb them myself as well.
vRS wheel NOT for sale thou!

Thanks guys, the day after my car was lowered I hit a sunken drain cover and damaged the edge of my wheel. Thinking of going back to standard wheel that have 45 profile and it is pissing me off and now the snow has gone there are pot holes everywhere!
