nice car, what are the new wheels, and being cheeky here, lol, would the old ones be up for sale?

new wheels are MS-Design deepdish things hard to describe

and old wheels are daffy ducked due to potholes one is buckled,gonna try get them refurbed as best i can and keep them for winter

fair enough mate got anypicks of the new 1s, you pleased with the car, i used to have a 1.4tdi, craking car and cost pennies to run

Yeh its ok but i just wish it had more power lol

running around 112bhp , 185 torque but its just not enough

lol, it never enough mate, i miss the rumble of my 1.4tdi, bout 2500rpm givin it the beans (i know tht sounds rubbish but youll find out wht i mean when you get a new one)

yeh ive driven 1.9tdi 105bhp ,1.9tdi fr 130 and mum n dad got a renault 2.2 dci

one sense id love a cupra or fr but i dnt really wanna let the 1.4tdi i go either lol

lol, i know wht you mean, the 1.4tdi is like a puppy you dont wanna get rid of

yeh

been looking at getting some kind of weekend car summit like a mk1 golf gti or another mk2

so i can keep the tdi for week

i thought about that, then brought the FR, got the best of both worlds realli and it a good sleeper at the traffic lights once de-badged and mapped.

hehe the little one isnt to bad can hold its own against most normal cars lol

especially with the coilys ,ARB and strut braces means on corners im like a rocket lol ,



just when you get somebody in summit like a cupra or fr it gives up

i actually think the 1.4tdi handled a little nicer on the limit, it was nippier in the corners, front doesnt push out as hard, think it cuz the engine ways less, all it needed was stiffer springs and you answered that with the coilys and arb

yeh it feels like a go-kart now except as i said them wheels are daffy ducked so at the moment some "bobbling" in the steering wheel makes it a bit more nervy

lol, should be better when you get ur wheels, just take a brave pill for the time being before, going for it.

i done really get chance to go for it in the ques every morning to work lol
live out in the country tho so some very nice A roads with nice corners

Right People Big Update today

Fitted my new wheels MSdesign Gmbh Wheels + Toyo T1-R's + Red Dice Valvecaps

Probably not to everybodys taste

Nice looking wheels there! Don't expect to keep hold of those dust caps for long. A mate of mine had a Mini Cooper S, with special dust caps and ALL four got nicked over a period of a couple of weeks. He swears the paper boy nicked them for his bike!

Looks like you've got a bit of stretch on the tyres? What width are the wheels and tyres? You running rear spacers?
