AndrewJB'S MK4 Ibiza 1.4TDI (Gone 30/12/09)

Some quick questions to ask you mate. So have you had any problems with your HID's from Diane-shop? Just I was wondering why they are so cheap compared to Hids4u.

Whats the difference?

Some more questions... I have a subwoofer in my bezza and it does make my lights dim slightly when the bass hits, do you think this will affect the HID's? and where do the HID's get their power from? the battery directly or the orginal headlight wiring?

I like what you've done with your car, and good shout with the leon. I've recently bought an 56 plate1.4 DAB special edition and i want to start doing some mods. What would you recommend starting with? Also can you recommend anywhere that does window tinting?

Hmm the 1.4dab is petrol so im not sure about performance mods

lcr splitter is a must at £18 its cheap .

i'm in Crewe.

i'm not sure whats on it already. I've been trying to figure out what parts are on it. It looks like it has some sort of splitter on it already.
From what i can figure out it seems to have some FR parts on it and some sport parts on it.
I keep reading about facelift or prefacelift or something like that. Do you know what that is?

Its been a while since i've had a Seat so its pretty much all new to me:think:

so if its a 56 plate which one would it be?
i've noticed some have a big Ibiza bagde in the middle of the tail gate and some have the smaller badges near the edges. Is that any indication?

If your in Crewe mate then i know a guy who can do your windows , He did mine for £100 on a 3 door , Also you should come join us at our Crewe meet , used to have it once a month its now like once every 3 months

The Dab IIRC is a 1.4 16v 100bhp , with it not being a turbo i doubt a reamp would do anything to it , But ...... i know somebody whos got a 1.4 16v and hes modified his so it might be worth speaking to him

Start a readers ride thread on here like this one for your car and get some pics up , we will be able to tell you if youve got a Splitter or not

Basically to modify your car you can do what ive done , Coilovers , Anti Roll Bars , Strut braces , New Wheels etc its just the engine thats different

It's a 1.8 T mate but i think it's 180bhp arne't they? It certanily didn't feel 80bhp slower than mine:think: Took it out today and it's a great little car. feels smaller than the LCR which is strange seeing as they're vurtually the same shell!

As for mine mate, think i'll get coilley's and new seats before i go re-mapping it.

You picked the leon up yet mate? What's happenin with the Beeza?

The guy ive used used to be based on gresty Road but hes mooved somewhere else so it could be him , whats it called

where bouts in crewe you from in Nantwich but work in MK
 
I think its called A1 performance, but not sure.
I'm near Nantwich road. I bet thats a bit a trek for work
 
Hmmm sounds familiar i will have a look when im back

I only do the Drive twice every 7 days , There and Back , Just drive 1m to work everyday

It could be a 1.8 20VT 150 OR 180 Depends on the Year

The reason it feels smaller is its alot more square and its as long , If its a 150 AGU Engine (Not sure if they came in the Golf) you could make it alot faster than your LCR , The 150 has got a big port headed engine so is a favourite for a conversion

Back on Standard Wheels , Was to low so had to turn it up 15mm , Fouled on a Speedbump on the way home after , Interior was also put back in
