Jaded old petrolhead

I got fed up with rolling round corners like an overloaded tramp steamer and after seeing deathead's mint mk1
on coilovers I bit the bullet and ordered up a set of TA Technix on eBay, same as his. Great price and the build
quality seems good. They arrived Tuesday afternoon and I tore into it. Much swearing and knuckle bashing
later they were in and this is the result. I dropped the back as low as it would go and moved the adjusters on
the front up so that 40 threads were visible on each side without the locking ring.

A word of warning if you are thinking of doing this yourself! The standard scissor jack is no longer safe to use
at the back as the suspension is now so stiff that when u jack up the back of the car, the whole back end comes
off the ground. I found this out the hard way when the car slowly toppled to one side, landing on the floor. I
was only using the sciscor jack because i needed the trolley jack to lift the hub and damper up into the tower
to attach the top nut. Use axle stands! :D

Oh and the wheel centres finally arrived from der deutschland :D

I'm waitin to see how it looks when the springs have settled in a while before I drop it any more. Plus I dont want to go too low and ruin the handling

Oh yeah an I'm gettin fed up payin Kwik fit to adjust my tracking! :D
I've had it done twice in 2 weeks. First after I fitted new track rod ends and again after fitting the coilies

any more plans for it then

I want a Jetex centre exit zorst and a more free flowing air filter. Not sure yet wheither to get an induction kit and box it or just mod the standard airbox.
I have a Blitz front mount intercooler lying in the garage just begging to be fitted but i'll need to measure up and get hard pipes and silicon joiners ordered first. If I do all that I can have the boost turned up a bit more ;)
I'd like 125bhp and 200lb/ft :p
