My filter is just a halfords jobbie with sum pipework cut to fit. Sounds real good and not had any issues with it so far not even heat soak :) Wouldent bother with any expensive ones dont really think they are worth it tbh.

That will be why then bud, Get her mapped then you`ll get a nice spool up sound. Ill try and get a sound clip this weekend. It is pretty loud:D

If you think about it your running around standard which is about 6psi isnt it? Im hitting 23psi its a big differance!

Myki, you dont have to use the elbow its just a good idea as it brings it nice and close to the wing.

Yeah very true never thought about that! Hope to get it mapped soon but was thinking about getting a Blueflame turbo back and a intercooler 1st then i can get it custom mapped! Its so tempting though to spend the money on a remap instead of a exhaust!

if you have bigger plans than just a remap, save up get all the bits then go stg2 or as you said a custom map.

Yeah thats wot i will be doing, getting all the bits fitted then get it remappped then should notice a big increase in one big hit! The JR filter has stopped alot of the power loss through heat soak though considering i did have a closed induction kit on b4?

dynatwist

Hey guys, im new to all of this. I've got a dynatwist on my cupra 225 and was wondering if I should take the tin off and get a heat shield? would that give me more power?
