thing is on the ibiza rear wings the inner and outer arch are joined in the lip area, but unlike other cars which have a distinct step on the spot welded join which sticks out and can easily be ground back, these are flush to each other in a flatter more rolled edge. grinding this could be done yes, but there's not much material there and if you went just a little too far you detatch the inner from outer.
I have close personal experience of this after modding my arches dramatically
Arches didnt need to be rolled in the first place. I ran 17x7.5 ET15 on the back with a 195/40 tyre. Tyre size was perfect. I'm now running 17x9.5 et 13 wth 215/35 and also no rubbing
