Very Kind of you to offer - not what you'd expect from a guy called Victor Meldrew! LOL;)

I have my moments of unbridled generosity and good naturedness ..... until an exhaust temperature sensor failed this afternoon !

does that exclude me from this thread then ??

I've got 800 miles on my FR TDI and the only problem so far is the warning buzzer and light coming on for the passenger seat belt even when there is no passenger sat there. Got to wait 2 weeks before the dealer can look at it though...Not impressed with that but lets see how it goes.

I seem to recall on here somewhere that you can unplug the sensor under the carpet of the passenger seat, dosent fix the problem but it takes the annoyance out of it

What a small world it is Victor, I was chatting to a good friend of mine at the golf club this afternoon who actually works with you!!! It's too much of a coincidence not to be you. Roscoe Nuttall to his friends. LOL:lol:

Hope you manage to get the sensor sorted, let me know how you get on with it.

I've done nearly 2000 miles in my TFSI FR without problems.... its awesome!!
(that's put the kiss of death on it - doh)

Don't be put off by the odd minor problem, when I got my 2005 FR TDI I have a few irriating problems, dealer soon sorted it and I had 20000 problem free miles.

I've got a couple somewhere, I've been very poor with taking photos.

I'll try a PM you the one I took with the phone as the rest are on my home computer which is knackered at the mo.

Photos don't do it justice thou, it looks fantastic in the flesh (so to speak) IMHO optional 18"s are a must as is the bluetooth kit.
