Morning all,

It looks like I might have someone to swap for my Golf so all being well I should have a red Leon Cupra R 225 next weekend.

I know these cars are hard to get wheels for but there is someone local to me selling 8x18in BBS RC wheels. Has anyone ever fitted these to the LCR?

Also the car has a non-standard exhaust which i cannot identify and TBH Id prefer a different one. I would either like a standard one so if anyone has one let me know or a flat oval style, I think Miltek do one. Any issues with this style?

Hello

I think i may be able to help you with both these questions :)

I have BBS RC wheels on my Skoda Octavia VRS. They were on the car when i got it but i do know that they were second hand off of a LCR. They are 18"x8". Im not sure on the offset of them but the rears did have to be machined to get the offset right as my car is quite low on H&R Coilovers. I would say as long at the offset is correct (other members will be able to tell you what it should be for 18" wheels on a LCR) then you will be fine.

Here is a picture of mine:

As far as Exhausts go, why dont you have a look at the products we have developed alongside the Seat Cupra Net members. We even have a special offer running at the moment as thanks to the members for their help and advice.

See here: Piper LCR Exhaust and Special Offer

I hope this is all okay and helps.

Kind Regards

Thanks for that, offset is more than likely ET35. For some reason I cannot see the pics that have been posted in this or the other topic.

As for the exhaust I dont want anything louder than standard.

No worries mate. All the images are hosted on Facebook and some companys have blocked this site now.

Our exhaust is louder than std but in a good way. Perfectly quiet at 60-90 crusing speed, nice note on idle but a decent growl under acceleration. The perfect performance exhaust :)

Speak soon.

Kind Regards
