Brake light replacement!! HELP!

Hey guys!


My mk2 cupra sport is in need of some attention!


I got informed my right rear brake light is out and have no idea how to go about finding what bulbs n how to replace it!! Ive tried to buy a haynes manual but to no success at the minute and cant really afford to wait long for them to be restocked as it will be a matter of time before a ticking off from the police will occur!

Wait bulbs are required and how easy are they to fit??? cheers!

You just need a normal 'Stop/Tail' bulb.... pop into Halfrauds and pick up one..

They'll have the booklet on display that you can flick through and find the right bulb....

Ah nice one! ive had a look and the bulbs are fitted into the component with all the wiring does this just need to unclipped and removed!?

all ive had is ford previously and they were all sealed and a right mess on to replace!!

you just need to unclip the plug holder from the back of the light, then just push and untwist the bulb you want to change

ive fitted led type in mine and they are a lot brighter and quicker

Yeah, it's piss easy, I had to change them in mine for the MOT

dont go halfords , go to a non shell/bp petrol station and it be about 60p
