Not met with anyone on the forum so this is going to be all new!

Im looking forward to it!

He has previously been seen in the paddock carrying a Tinky Winky style handbag. Not a great look but easy to spot. :bleh:

Ps. We'll hopefully see you around this afternoon Stu. If you need any further help on the organisation front the Mini-Briefs and I can help out.

Help would be appreciated by rounding up the masses and pointing them in my direction in the morning, want and get it done and dusted before lunchtime if possible

Woot! Parking pass and tickets sorted. Can't wait until tomorrow....

Are ppl still meeting at Thurrock Services 07:45 on Sunday? How long is it likley to take me to get there from Milton Keynes so I dont miss the convoy?

I've also never been to brands before - where's this parking we all speak of in relation to the paddock hill grandstand? I've got seats booked in that grandstand with some mates, so hopefully it's not to far from the parking you guys are talking about?

If you speak to Pat (UncleFester) he is travelling up from MK I do believe.

And I think the plan is still to be at Thurrock Services and leave there at 8 at the latest.

Yep, I'll be at Thurrock Services fro 7:45, leaving at 8. I'll be in my Platinum LCR with a mate driving a black mk2 leon. See you there :)

I am aiming for Thurrock for about 7.30ish - maybe earlier for something to eat and a much needed early morning coffee - also need to fill up the cold bag with scoff and junk for the day :)

Good news: Confirmed that the grass is open on Southbank. Parked on it today and it's dry but may be a bit slippy with morning dew.
We have put up some signs. Keep your eyes peeled. Best approach is from the western end of Southbank as the middle access onto the grass is closed off by the Hot Air Balloon Zone(basically opposite back of the SEAT pit and lorries).

Scott has personally confirmed that he's arranged to tape off our area early tomorrow. Many thanks once again to SSUK. They do appreciate that we aim to give them a good send off:flag::wave:

Myself and others from the Barmy Army will be there before 8am so look out for the flags and please park up sensibly so we can fit all 60 of us in.

For the first timers, walking from our parking round to Paddock hill takes about 10 minutes depending on how many snacks you're carrying ;)

So is that in the main gate and turn left and follow the road around to the southbank?

nah, thru a side gate (follow the symbol on the pass) which is just past the main entrance normally - then follow the road round, over a bridge, along a bit, over a bridge, down a bit & then you get to SB

If its anything like last year all the car parks are well signposted off the A20, but i'm not leading the convoy as i don't want to be responsible for us all getting lost :p

Just looking on MM ... the main entrance would appear to be off scratchers lane, the entrance we're using must be the one that's a bit further down the A20?
