Machined my smallport phenolic gasket out to largeport and also bored out the inlet manifold from 60mm to about 68mm ready for a 70mm throttle body.
Going to get the old man to make a plate to change the bolt patterns and also include a port for a wmi nozzle.

I take it you are going to copy the ina plate? I've been looking at these after reading horror stories about wm ruining the throttle body

Indeed I am, except the INA reduces from 70-60mm where as mine will reduce to 68.

This is interesting! maybe ill put the nozzle somewhere else, I dont see how it would though as anywhere else and it still has to go through the throttle body..
The only problems I heard was the manifold vacuum was pulling methanol through.. but bill sorted this by fitting a different 1 way valve.

Have you got any links to what you have read?

The thread I was reading was in the mk1 Leon section and searched wmi nozzle location , it stated that there were reports of if knackering the tb so they recommended fitting the nozzle after the tb . For example in a sandwich plate between the two

i'm sure its much better than standard , the standard k04 mani looks worse for flow than the k03 , just by physically looking at the 2

Yea the standard k03 manifold apparently does flow more than the k04, its too risky to port the k04 manifolds too as they have a tendency to crack as standard!

Picked up my turbo lines today and also some new bolts for my flywheel.
Also stripped the engine down ready for removal.. I'm having nightmares already about all the wireing!!
Anyway out with the old and in with the new :)
